Who I Follow

Broken Arrow Mandala by Stephanie “Biffybeans” Smith (by biffybeans) After recently participating in an arrow breaking exercise, I felt compelled to create a piece of art to signify this experience. Created on 22x30” handmade (Punjab) rough watercolor paper, the background was created first with acrylic paints and only a foam roller. Next I blocked in the colors and shapes with additional acrylic paints- then added the next to last step with black acrylic gesso. Lastly, the white details were added with a gel ink pen. Piece was then sealed with acrylic spray. Music composed in GarageBand.
